Brothers Media was recently renamed to Brthrs Agency, and I was asked to help with the redesign of their new logotype. I really enjoyed working with this talented agency based in Utrecht.
Since they were just a few miles from my office, I had the chance to swing by, chat face-to-face about their work, their goals, and discuss their stylistic direction. The biggest challenge was designing without vowels. This was a new concept for me, and I hadn’t tried it before.
The result is a unique scripted wordmark. The idea was to blend a clean sans-serif style with a more traditional script. The “B” was carefully crafted with standalone icon use in mind, making it bold and recognizable on its own.
